Slumber Party at Grandpa and Grandma's

On Saturday, September 11th after attending the State Fair, Phil and I went and picked up Emma and Erika so they could come to grandpa and grandma's for the weekend. They love to play with their cousins' Zoe and Lincoln so we called and invited them to come over to play.

The girls love to have a tea party when they are together so that was one of the first things on the agenda.

Emma entertained everyone with a puppet show of barnyard animals

Lincoln found a box lid to play in while the girls had their tea party

Then he went in and sat on grandpa's lap while grandpa played on the computer

They traced each others hands and scribbled on paper

And of course we can't come to grandma's without playing the piano al least 20 times

There were plenty of hugs to go around

And Jezzi was always right there in the middle of the excitement

Erika dressed up like a princess and gave us all a fashion show

Such a beauty!

Grandpa brought home chicken nuggets from Wendy's and we all had a picnic on the deck

Erika showing me her chicken nugget

Emma showing me her owie on her elbow

Then frosties for dessert as we watched Dora

Zoe needed her own space during our picnic so she ate her dinner on the couch

Then we had a treasure hunt in the garden to find all the ripe vegtables to pick

The girls loved this activity!

Here is part of the result of their harvest

Then it was time to wind down and relax a little after playing hide & seek

Erika snuggled up on the couch

We had a great weekend! We sure do love these guys!

How adorable! I LOVE that last picture! Thanks for being such good grandparents! I love how Lincoln needed to get away from all the girly stuff so he went to play with Papa :) Love you guys!
