I'm Not 50....I'm $49.95 plus tax!

I had the most absoultely awesome birthday ever! Please.....allow me to share with you the past three incredible days that I had in celebration of turning 50. Yes...I am now officially over the hill and ready to take on the next 50 years of my life!

It all started on Saturday when Phil announced to me that we had an appointment in Ogden at 3:00 that we needed to get ready for. He took me to "iFly" where you dress up in a jump suit, ear plugs, goggles and a helmet and go into a huge wind tunnel that makes you feel like you are sky diving. It was pretty awesome and let me tell you, I used muscles that I did not even know that I had! I felt like 50 after we were done but it was worth every ache and pain. We purchased the video of us flying but it lasts to long to download, so I will just show you the certificate they gave me.

After that we went to Iggy's for dinner. They sang to me and gave me a free dessert.

The next day Phil took me to the Anniversary Inn which is a Bed & Breakfast theme room in SLC.

This was the breakfast that they delivered to our room the next morning.

Here are a few pictures of the beautiful room that we stayed in. The bed was incredibly comfortable!

We had dinner at PF Changs that night.

We ordered Shrimp and chicken and the lettus wraps were to die for!

If you ever eat there, make sure you order the lettus wraps!

The next day we left our room around noon and headed off to the "State Fair"

After we left the fair Phil took me to the Sizzler in Layton where I was surprized with about 40 friends and family members! I was so surprized and excited that I could not even eat my dinner! Thank you to my girls who planned and put it all together. I have not had a party like that since I was 12 years old! Below are several pictures of the event............
