Wow! How time flies when you are in the adventure of a lifetime! It's hard to believe that Phil and I have been married 15 years now. We decided to take a mini retreat this year instead of a major trip so we could use the money we would of spent in re-finishing our family room downstairs.
We went out to a very nice dinner and then stayed at the Anniversary Inn in Salt lake City. We stayed in the Carriage Suite. this is a picture of our bed which was like a huge carriage. It was a beautiful suite.
After our night in Salt Lake and spending the next day relaxing, shopping, and eating we started our project of tearing apart the family room right down to the studs.
Handyman Phil did most of the hard labor. We borrowed a trailer from our friends and filled it with all the sheet rock and crap to haul off to the dump.
This is the carpet that we picked out at Steve Ogdens. I love it and can't wait until the whole thing is finished and we are relaxing in our new family room!
