Phil's Birthday Weekend

We celebrated Phil's 52nd Birthday this past weekend. First we headed to Logan to spend the night at my mothers home. She took us out to a wonderful birthday dinner and then Phil played handyman for the evening fixing odds and ends around her house. Phil had to teach a scouting class at the Commissioners College all day Saturday, so while he spent the day doing what he loves, Mom and I went over to Natalie's home in Mendon where she was having a baby shower for her daughter Kristin.

After Phil got back from teaching his class we headed up to Lava Hot Springs to spend the night at a Bed and Breakfast and bask in the hot mineral pools.

This is the Bed and Breakfast where we stayed. It was nestled in the mountains and was absoultely beautiful! The theme rooms were decorated very nice and I have never slept on such a comfortable mattress. The breakfast they cooked for us was wonderful. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone.

This was the dinning room where we had breakfast the next morning which consisted of a delicious fruit dish, pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, juice, and hot chocolate.

And of course the relaxing mineral springs which is the #1 reason why people go to Lava. We hung out here Saturday evening and soaked our tired, achey muscles. It was great for Phil's knee. We had a wonderful, relaxing weekend.

Happy Birthday Phil! I love You!

Oh Happy Birthday Phil! Looks like you had fun at Lava Hot Springs. I think you are so kind for going and helping Grandma around her house too!
