The Capizzi's: SWISS DAYS 2008

Time once again for our annual girls weekend at Swiss Days in Midway. Swiss Days is a huge craft fair with hundreds of booths set up surrounded by good food and entertainment. I believe every year it gets more and more crowded! The expression on Kristie's face says it all when we approached the big event and she said, "You have got to be kidding!" Karrie just looked on in amazement. Then we joined in with the thousands of other crazy women, making our way through each booth finding just the right treasure to take home and display in our homes. We have been doing this for over 25 years and wouldn't miss it for anything. It is crazy fun!

After battling the huge crowds we met up with friends for dinner at this wonderful Mexican restaurant in Heber. We did not make reservations so they did not have a table big enough to seat all of us, so I took pictures of each table seperately.

This is Suzette and some of her family that came. Yes...I know it is supposed to be a girls weekend but this year Sharie and Tiffany brought their cute husbands. The men played golf while the women shopped.

This is my long time dear friend Sandy who really is the one that started this whole tradition and below is her daughter Tara who Kristie and Karrie went to elementary school with in Kaysville many years ago.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn in Heber. This is Suzette's two girls Tiffany and Sharie and Sharie's cute little boy.

After dinner we went over to Sandy's room to visit with them for awhile. Some of us got foot rubs while we visited. I was one of the lucky ones to have my feet rubbed!
