Our Awsome 24th of July Adventure

I had four blistfully, wonderful, fun days off over the 24th of July. It Started off with Phil and I going to see Batman where Heath Ledger played an awesome, wicked Joker.

The next morning I went and got my hair done and a pedicure. Sometimes it's good to be pampered!

Yes, I know that I have funny looking toes!

Then Phil and I headed up to Park City and stayed the night at the "Yarrow Hotel" Ann Marie got us a nice pool side room.

We went shopping at the Outlet stores and then went shopping on old main street iin Park City.

This of course was one of our favorite stores because I love Chocolate and Phil loves to look at camping and outdoor books.

We stopped in one of the cute little cafes to have breakfast. This is my pathetic attempt to take our picture while we were waiting for our food.

I loved the beautiful flowers that lined the streets. It reminded me of Marilyn's beautiful flowers in her yard.

Then we road the Alpine Slide and a new ride called the Alpine Coaster.

After we left Park City, we went and picked up our two little granddaughters Ema and Erika. We took them out to lunch to celebrate Erika birthday. She will be three years old on July 29th

After lunch we took the girls to the store to pick out a toy. They loved riding on the shopping cart while grandpa pushed it.

We found all kinds of fun places to sit


After our visit with the girls we went to Lagoon for the evening. It was Kristie's Lagoon Day with Job Corp so she got us free tickets. This was my favorite ride. I screamed so loud that my voice hurt for about 12 hours after. It was a fun weekend!
